First Day Of School Traditions

My son will be will be starting PreK in 9 days! I cannot believe it, my baby has grown up so fast. I have been a stay at home mom since he was 2 months old. After my maternity leave was up, I went back to work for a day and that was the worst day ever. I couldn’t take being away from my baby. My husband a I discussed it and decided it would be best if I became a stay at home mom. When I returned to work the next day, I put in my 2-week notice and I have been a stay at home mom ever since.

I’m going to miss him so much, I told my husband to have the tissue ready the first few days of school because I know I will be crying along with my 2year old son. My boys are so close, they do everything together. I have been trying to keep my mind off him leaving me for 5 hours a day, so I started looking up ‘First Day of School Traditions’ to start with. I found some really neat ideas that I think we would enjoy doing every year.

Seasoned Chicken, Potatoes, and Green beans

This is a go-to meal after a long week. It is so easy to make and the whole family enjoys it, so that means no fighting with the kids to eat their food. I love crockpot meals, I can put all the ingredients in the crockpot and its ready in only 4 hours, and the clean up is super easy especially when I use crockpot liners.
